Birmingham City University offers a range of short courses aimed at both businesses who want to upskill their workforce and individuals wishing to augment their CVs. Spanning a range of subjects, these courses are non-credit bearing programmes which will help participants to develop skills and knowledge, gaining professional development in their chosen field.
We offer three different delivery methods across our provision – face-to-face instructor-led teaching, self-paced online learning or a blended mix of the two.

Fundamentals of programming
Introduction to Python basics. Covering the key skills of programming and how this relates to technology and communications. This module provides the underpinning knowledge and practice for computing students to design, build and test software components.

This course aims to provide an increased understanding of multiple births to help professionals more effectively support families.
