School of Arts

The School of Arts includes three academic Departments: Art and Design; English and Media; and Fashion and Jewellery.

Business School

Our Business School is a globally oriented school which features two academic Departments: Department of Accountancy, Finance and Economics; and Department of Management, Business and Marketing.

The School of Law and Social Sciences encompasses three academic Departments: Department of Criminology and Sociology; Department of Education; and Department of Law.

School of Architecture, Built Environment, Computing and Engineering

The School of Architecture, Built Environment, Computing and Engineering comprises three academic Departments: Department of Architecture and Built Environment; Department of Computer Science; and Department of Engineering.

School of Life and Health Sciences

The School of Life and Health Sciences is home to three academic Departments: Department of Health and Social Care Professions; Department of Life and Sports Sciences; and Department of Psychology and Counselling.

The School of Nursing and Midwifery has a long-established history of delivering training for health professionals. It includes three academic Departments: Department of Adult Nursing; Department of Mental Health and Learning Disability Nursing; and Department of Midwifery and Children’s Health.

Royal Birmingham Conservatoire

Our conservatoire is a world-class creative institution providing exceptional training for the musicians, actors, stage managers and theatre professionals of the future. Our courses help students meet the demands of today’s fast-paced creative industry whilst inspiring them to achieve the extraordinary.
