Student helps firm broaden its business reach

Residential lettings agent Broad Court Property Management Limited asked our Visual Communications experts to help them develop new business areas and expand their online marketplace with in-house web capabilities.

The team worked with the firm through a Knowledge Based Partnership (KTP) designed to address their requirements. Visual Communications graduate Adam Lloyd was assigned to work on the project under the supervision of one of our academics.

With the company’s needs firmly in mind, Adam developed a highly tuned, fully functional website. It enabled Broad Court Property Management to communicate with its customers in a much more flexible and efficient way.

Following the project Adam was offered a position at the company as web developer, which he accepted.

The KTP resulted in a number of benefits for Broad Court Property, including:

  • Cost-effective, flexible marketing for new business areas
  • The ability to respond to customer requests
  • Properly developed web-based activities that were both rigorous and innovative
  • Thirty per cent increase in domestic lettings
  • More efficient holiday lettings process
  • Increase in business
  • Brand development.
