As a practising designer, Emma’s commercially successful award-winning professional credits encompass years of leading ideas-driven design and brand projects and teams. As well as running innovation workshops, judging design awards, and mentoring junior creatives, she has worked internationally, producing highly acclaimed work for exacting global brands.

Emma is bold multi-disciplinary creative and believes in the power of a great idea. As an educator she brings current, relevant industry experience and insight to her students. She strives to enable students to approach visual communication challenges with confidence.

Emma supports students to become graphic communicators by developing their creative practice and commercial awareness, with a focus on collaborative, considered working practices and ideas that engage the audience, persuade, excite and entertain. Emma continues to make strong positive links to industry partners and linking students to live briefs and employment opportunities.

Her 20 years of visual communication expertise encompasses creative for brand motion, web, environment, packaging and print. To her role she brings agency experience gained in London, Basel, New York and Los Angeles studios, business ownership and freelance self-employment.
