Our Business School is proud to have hundreds of connections with companies of both small and large scales. These connections benefit students by giving them hands on experience, the chance to network with industry professionals and participate in workshops and live briefs.
Online retailer Lounge Underwear is committed to supporting the local community and working with local universities to support student talent. BCU students have been on site visits to Lounge Underwear’s headquarters, where they presenting strategic marketing ideas to senior management. Students have also worked on live campaign briefs to mark International Women’s Day and gone on to secure year-long internships with the lingerie company.Find out more
The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) is the UK's largest exhibition space. It hosts Events Week Live, a week-long event that Event, Venue and Experience Management students get to participate in. Students gain valuable work experience, industry connections and more. Previous experiences have also included behind-the-scenes access to the build of Crufts, plus the hundreds of other events hosted every year at the venue.Find out more

Eden Hotel Collection is an award-winning hotel chain in the UK. The chain partners with Birmingham City Business School and allows students to work on live projects, which not only counts towards course work but provides real-world work experience in their chosen field.Find out more

Student Tax Clinic
The BCU Student Tax Clinic is the first tax clinic in England where student volunteer advisors provide advice on UK tax issues to their fellow students. All student volunteers working in the tax clinic are supervised by a qualified tax practitioner.
