Virtual Science

OSIME Virtual Science To support our emerging Health Sciences programmes we are currently identifying scope for the design and development of a range of virtual science simulations and interactive resources. Initial meetings have identified demand for interactive resources that cover the following areas:

  •          Volumetric titration
  •          Antibiotic resistance
  •          Blood grouping tests and compatibility
  •          Virtual genetics lab
  •          Lab safety
  •          DNA extraction
  •          PCR
  •          Gel electrophoresis
  •          DNA MicroArray

An additional 12 ideas have been received for resource development and this list will be updated as development plans are firmed up.
