Misba began her journey at Birmingham City University by studying BSc (Hons) in Psychology and then completing her PhD. Misba’s research interests lie within eating behaviours, specifically exploring experimental methods to promote healthier eating behaviours using mindful eating, self-compassion, self-distancing, and environmental stimuli (e.g., music, type of food). Misba uses her research expertise to inform her teaching practice to enhance a positive student learning experience.
