Overview
Birmingham City University’s ISAK Level 2 Short Course is designed for kinanthropometry practitioners who have already completed ISAK Level 1.
This course deepens your technical expertise in anthropometry, building on foundational skills and enabling practitioners to perform a wider range of measurements (43 anthropometric dimensions) with increased accuracy and confidence. It is ideal for those working in sport, health, fitness and research settings.

Expert-Led Training: Your course leader Jennie Carter is a widely experienced ISAK-accredited Level 3 Instructor, and Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Nutrition at Birmingham City University.

Practical Experience: You will receive advanced hands-on example-led training in anthropometric techniques, including skinfold measurements, breadths and girths.

Course in depth
This is a four-day in-person group training course carried out at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham. There is also some mandatory pre-course e-learning to undertake in preparation as well as a post-course assessment.
Upon successfully completing the course, you will be certificated to ISAK Level 2 (officially accredited by the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry.) Acquisition of these advanced-level skills will represent a significant forward step in your professional journey within the field of sports and health sciences.
