Our City Centre Campus is at the heart of a growing community for software development and computer programming, as well as mechatronics, games technology and computer forensics.
We've established strong links with many local (as well as national and global) organisations. This means that as a student you get every opportunity to put theory into practice and really understand what you learn.
Birmingham has a sustainable employment pool -– it's Europe's youngest city with a high graduate retention rate – and a high number of our School’s students stay in the City once they leave us.
We have links with Fazeley Studios and the Custard Factory, both of which are home to new and emerging talent in the digital sector. This means that you can experience the industry first hand as part of your studies.
The School is also in easy walking distance of Birmingham city centre and is connected to all major rail and motorway routes.
Reasons to study in Birmingham
- In 2015, Birmingham was the top destination for people moving out of London. People were attracted by high employment rates, low house prices in comparison to the south east, and its central location. Birmingham is attracting investment from major businesses including Jaguar Land Rover, MG Motors, Changan, Kraft, SCC, HSBC and Deutsche Bank, many of which will be looking for graduates with professional skills.
