The Parkside Building

The £62 million Parkside Building is part of the City Centre Campus expansion and provides a state-of-the art home for our Arts, Design and Media courses, incorporating the Parkside Media House. 

Our Art, Design and Media students work from a core of workshops in the centre of the five-floor building, with studio space around them. Students have access to cutting-edge facilities that rival those used in industry, including:

  • Four film and TV studios, including our green screen studio with BOLT JR+ camera
  • Six radio studios 
  • Photography studios
  • Print room for lino printing, screenprinting, etching, hot foil pressing, letter pressing, bookbinding and more
  • Gallery space
  • Food and drink facilities
  • Architecture studios
  • Weave Room 
  • Design studios
  • Fashion workshops
