General undergraduate scholarships
Our Travel Pass Scheme and Sport Scholarship are for students studying any undergraduate course who meet the terms and conditions. Find more information on the eligibility requirements for each scholarship.
BCU Travel Pass Scheme
January 2027 entry
First year BCU students from selected schools and colleges can receive a free West Midlands travel pass worth up to £750!
The Accelerate Scholarship
January 2027 entry
Our £1,000 BCU Accelerate Scholarship is paid in three instalments across your first year of study to support you as you make the move from school or college.
Sport Scholarship for athletes
Any year entry
Our Sport Scholarship supports students on any course who are competing at a performance level.

Henderson Bursaries and Scholarships
The Henderson Programme provides scholarships, bursaries and opportunities for students studying Computing, Engineering and Built Environment degrees at Birmingham City University.

Music scholarships and bursaries
The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire offer bursaries to home undergraduate music students from lower-income backgrounds as well as a number of scholarships to music applicants who demonstrate excellence or outstanding potential at audition, and/or specialize in a ‘shortage’ Principal Study area.

Acting bursaries
The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire offer bursaries to home undergraduate students joining Acting, Applied Theatre and Stage Management courses from lower income households.
