Neuropsychology (undergraduate level 5 module)
This module covers a wide range of aspects of neuropsychology and cognitive psychology (perception, attention, memory, language, decision making, etc.), and instructs students in areas of neurocognitive testing that are used in the diagnosis and treatment of many neuropsychological disorders.
Brain and Cognition (postgraduate MSc module)
This online module covers a wide range of aspects of neuropsychology and cognitive psychology (perception, attention, memory, language, decision making, etc.), and instructs students in areas of neurocognitive testing that are used in the diagnosis and treatment of many neuropsychological disorders.
Controversies in Psychology (foundation year module)
This module provides students with an introduction to misconceptions and controversies within psychological research. Students are guided through the process of evaluating and critically assessing the work of others, with a view to enhancing their critical thinking skills. The course also focuses on a variety of aspects concerning good research practice, such as, the importance of maintaining high ethical standards when conducting and reporting research.
