Rebecca joined BCU’s Psychology department in 2016 and is co-Course Director for the BPS accredited MSc in Psychology. She chose to be an academic in order to pursue and share her passion for psychology; in particular, how psychology can improve people’s lives on an individual and societal level. This informs both her teaching and research.

She is passionate about supporting mental health and wellbeing and is the for the Mental health and Wellbeing co-lead. She delivers mindfulness and meditation sessions for staff and students.  She cares deeply about equality also works on the Athena SWAN self-assessment team.
