We welcome many students from overseas who join our courses because of our outstanding international reputation. With the biggest range of jewellery making and jewellery design courses available, it is no surprise that we attract students from a diverse range of countries.

The BSc in Gemmology and Jewellery Studies is also very attractive to students from overseas. This is particularly relevant for countries where much of their industry and economy is involved with mining of precious gemstones and luxury jewellery brands, using a wealth of gemstones and diamonds.

Our well-qualified professional tutors have earned an excellent reputation and are recognised internationally through their research profiles and professional status.

Our Jewellery Quarter base is a strong draw for all students as it is a unique and thriving working area with lots to offer. You will be studying in an inspirational environment which enjoys excellent industry links and opportunities. The Jewellery Quarter also has a lot of good living accommodation close to the School which is very attractive for those wanting to be within walking distance of their place of study.

At the School of Jewellery, you will be part of a supportive and dynamic University, which also has an award-winning International Office to assist our overseas students. Advice and help is always available.

Overseas students studying in the UK are happier and have a better learning experience compared to those studying in other countries.

The International Undergraduate Students: The UK's Competitive Advantage report asked 365,754 international students studying outside their home country to give their feedback on what it's like to study in this country. And the UK scored top in every aspect.

So if you're looking at studying with us, you'll be making a good choice.
