Usama Zidan

Usama is a PhD Researcher at the Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Centre and a Visiting Lecturer at Birmingham City University. Usama’s Doctoral Research is mainly in the area of computer vision, specifically in the areas of image classification and segmentation.

His supervisors are Professor Mohamed Gaber and Dr Mohamed Abdelsamea. Usama holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nottingham in Computer Science with AI and a PGCert in Research Practice from Birmingham City University. With a deep passion for machine learning and data mining, Usama is dedicated to exploring innovative approaches and techniques to advance the field. His research aims to contribute to the development of efficient and accurate methods for image analysis and understanding.
