Millennium Point is giving current and former Birmingham City University students the chance to win some BIG prizes as part of its 10 birthday celebrations by asking them to submit details of their best time or favourite memory at the building.
My BIG day out at Millennium Point’ competition is asking students based in either the Birmingham School of Acting or the Faculty of Technology, Engineering and the Environment to submit video, audio, images or text at www.millenniumpoint.org.uk/mybigdayout. Full details of how to enter can also be found on Facebook by searching ‘Millennium Point’ and participants can submit anything from a photo taken at a student event, to an account of an interesting project at the building.
Students taking part could win some BIG prizes including tickets to the IMAX Cinema, Thinktank annual passes PLUS the chance to attend a VIP party at Millennium Point in September 2011.
Jenny Powell (pictured above) is a 2 year student who studies BSc Hons Business Information Technology at Birmingham City University is taking part in the campaign to celebrate the building’s 10 birthday.
Jenny said:
“My big day at Millennium Point happened when I first joined the University and became a student ambassador. It was a great feeling to show prospective students the fantastic equipment and technology that is on offer at this campus.”
Karen Steed, acting chief executive of Millennium Point, said:
“Millennium Point is home to a wide range of tenants and attractions, and to celebrate its success over the past ten years, we want to hear what people love about the building.
“This could be a fun day out that you and your family have spent at Thinktank, pictures of when the building first opened or footage from one of the many events that we’ve held here over the years. I’m sure there is a lot of content that has been captured by our visitors and we’re looking forward to seeing it.”
