Professor Mike Brown, Head of Corporate Reputation and Strategy at Birmingham City Business School, has carried out research to find out which companies are the most admired.
In conjunction with Management Today magazine Mike and his colleagues asked Britain's largest public companies in 25 sectors to evaluate their peers. Professor Brown said: "One of the fundamental aims of the Britain's Most Admired Companies survey is to celebrate the skills and successes of the management of the best British companies. Never have these skills been as important and as sternly tested as during the past 18 months."
