Dr Chris Edger, Professor of Multi-Unit Leadership at Birmingham City Business School, has been asked to give a one day seminar in London on 9 January 2014.
The Multiples’ Masterclass, run in partnership with Propel, aims to provide attendees with an overview and insights on the strategic and operational sources of competitive advantage for multi-site retailers in foodservice organisations, and examines the vital insights on how professional leadership skills can be developed.
The day consists of three sessions:
- What do the UK’s most admired retail companies do?
- What do effective multi-site managers do?
- How do you develop effective multi-site managers?
Chris will be drawing inspiration from his latest book, published in October 2013 entitled ‘International Multi-Unit Leadership: Developing Local Leaders in International Multi-Site Operations’ and his next book ‘Professional Area Management’ which is due to be released in 2014.
