Dr Daniel Siaw
Lecturer in Management (Strategy and International Business)
Daniel is a Lecturer in Strategy and International Business at Birmingham City Business School, Birmingham City University. He holds a PhD in International Business from Brunel University London, an MSc in International Management from the Bristol Business School, University of the West of England, and a BTech in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from the Accra Technical University.
Prior to his academic career, Daniel was a Logistics and Transport Officer at PZ Cussons Plc, Ghana. His research interests span across the broad areas of strategic management and international business in emerging markets, sustainability in global value chains, strategy and second-order innovation, and value creation and capture practices in the extractive industries. His research has appeared in journals such as: European Management Review, Journal of Rural Studies, and Strategic Change.
