David McGee
David is a teaching fellow in the Business Department within BCU’s Business School. David is actively engaged in research for a Doctoral in Business Administration on the subject, ‘The use of humour of the communication process’. He is a member of the International Society for Humour Studies. David works in the Business School’s Knowledge Transfer Partnership and the DTI-funded Help to Grow program. David entered academia after working within industry for over 20 years. He enjoyed an award-winning career as a newspaper journalist and latterly worked as a TV journalist with the BBC before moving into a communications role with an international NGO. David is skilled at engaging with outside audiences and communicating and disseminating information to the widest audience.
