Ilnaz is an ambitious researcher and experienced Architect who has a demonstrated history of working as an Architect, Architectural Technologist and Construction Manager. She pursued her PhD in Construction at Heriot Watt University and is currently waiting for her graduation. She holds an MSc (Hons) in Architectural Engineering from Polytechnic of Milan, and a BSc in Architectural Engineering from Imam Khomeini International University. As a passionate member of AEC, Ilnaz has tracked this field eagerly during the last 15 years, either by expanding her knowledge as a researcher in the academic atmosphere or by improving her skills in design in the industry.
She is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in Construction Management at BCU while actively engaging in research within different areas related to technology in construction. Her core research is around the implementation of Digital Technologies in AEC, Off-site Construction, Modular Building, Timber Structures and BIM. In addition to her academic experiences, she has a demonstrated history of working in the design and construction industry as an Architect, Architectural Technologist and BIM Specialist. Ilnaz is an active member of CIAT, RIBA and CIOB.
