Art and Design

Art and Design with Creative Technologies

This course content is the same follows the same curriculum as our Art and Design course (above) but differs by its encouragement in the development of digital skills, through the usage of various technological approaches. You will participate in a series of workshops which involve different aspects of technology to develop your skills and understanding.

Art Business (level 6 top-up)

Our BA (Hons) Art Business (Top-Up) course has a strong focus on employability in the Art sector, providing you with the knowledge, understanding and experience needed to work effectively in the creative industries.

During this (one-year full time/ two-year part time) level 6 course, you will be supported to navigate the extensive range of careers in the creative and cultural sectors. The course will support you to develop the professional skills needed to pursue your ambitions, and the intellectual and critical skills to challenge existing structures, in order to innovate for the future.

Design for Performance: theatre, film and live events

Interested in a career around design and production for anything theatre, film or live event based? This degree encourages an ambitious mindset, creating a range of contemporary designs using a hands-on approach.

After exploring a range of areas, you will have the opportunity to determine your specific area of of interest by the end of the course.

You will collaborate within a multi- disciplinary school, giving you a chance to experience first-hand the approach numerous established artists and designers use on a day-to-day basis.

Fine Art

Our BA (Hons) Fine Art course embraces important traditional making skills, such as painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, installation, digital media and performance.

This course places an emphasis on the fusion of Fine Art with new developments in creative practice framed within a professional working context to improve employability upon graduation.
