Rebecca works across a range of disciplines including performance, installation, photography, printmaking and sculpture. Her practice challenges the role and potential of the physical presence of the viewer in the exhibition space in the construction of staged participation and acknowledged/ unacknowledged co-production. She is a Senior Lecturer and as Head of Undergraduate Studies oversees the delivery of and teaching on the BA Fine Art and BA Art and Design courses.
Rebecca is currently undertaking her PhD at Central St Martins. Her PhD “Artist as Puppeteer, Artwork as Puppet, Viewer as Performer? ; the establishment of a non-hierarchical acknowledged or unacknowledged collaborative production of art work in the context of the exhibition space”.
