Steps to Success Discovery Tool

Students will take diagnostic tests, covering four main areas:

  • Academic skills - gaining data of students' abilities in academic reading and writing, analysing texts, study skills and understanding of the University's expectations and terminology
  • Numeracy testing - understanding strengths, areas for improvement and knowledge gaps in students' numeracy skills
  • Wellbeing - highlighting which students may benefit from proactively offering support with their mental health. Screening for disabilities and learning difficulties
  • Digital literacy - highlighting strengths and areas for improvement in students' digital understanding and skills with using digital information
