Award winning Illustrator with 30 years of industry engagement. Research areas include the development of autographic print processes in contemporary graphic art practice.

Andrew Kulman has taught across all three years of the undergraduate course in Illustration at BCU, has delivered lectures to several postgraduate courses and has supervised a PHD student.

Andrew has had years of experience examining courses, both BA and MA in the UK and Ireland and has been on many review and validation panels both in the UK and Europe.

In 2014 Andrew set up the Parkside Press to produce small run publications and posters. Andrew has won major industry awards including the Yellow Pencil (D&AD) and the V&A award as well as working for many publishers and design groups in the UK, Europe and US.

He is a member of the Association of Illustrators and has been accepted as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and has been elected to be a member of the Art Worker’s Guild.
