BCU Active is about more than fitness classes. We're here to support your physical and mental wellbeing while you're studying at Birmingham City University (BCU). Try something different, develop new skills and hobbies, and find your people. There are no membership costs, and you don't need to be a member of BCU Sport to take part, just book and join the sessions that work for you.

Move for your body and mind
Regular fitness classes at our City Centre wellbeing studio and City South campus, with pilates, yoga, strength and more.
Run together
Discounted entry into the Great Birmingham 10k or half marathon when you run as part of Team BCU.
Free workouts wherever you are
Access to free pre-recorded HIIT, yoga and core workouts online.
Make new friends
Join weekly social sport sessions to get active and meet new people. Sports include badminton, basketball, cricket, pickleball and more.
