Sir Lenny Henry at our Open Day

Our October Open Day will see a special guest join us on both of our campuses. Our Chancellor Sir Lenny Henry will be dropping in to help you find your way around and discover all that BCU has to offer.

Sir Lenny usually meets our students at graduation – at the other end of their BCU journey – but this open day, he will be saying hello to those of you who have yet to begin your university experience.

Look out for Sir Lenny at check-in, when you pick up your free BCU bag and open day programme, and at various subject activities throughout the day at both City Centre and City South campuses. He’ll also be joining the Vice-Chancellor at one of his talks at City Centre, so make sure you get your seat in time to hear them both.

Sir Lenny Henry: Exclusive book talk and signing

As well as visiting the Open Day activities and talks, Sir Lenny Henry will also be kick-starting his UK-wide tour with an exclusive talk and book signing especially for BCU.

Tickets for this event which are limited, and must be booked in advance, cost £10. The ticket price includes a copy of Sir Lenny’s new memoir, 'Who Am I Again?' and a seat at our exclusive talk. There will also be the opportunity for ticket holders to have their books signed following the talk.

The book signing is open to both Open Day attendees and members of the public who are not attending Open Day, and tickets can be purchased here. If you wish to book a place on our Open Day, you can book here.
