Amber Cooper-Green
Amber Cooper-Green’s Jewellery is inspired by old fashioned medical bottles. The circular forms have been abstracted, reimagined, manipulated and explored through the use of collage, illustration and 3D maquette making.
This extensive design process is what stimulated her innovative amalgamation of wood, metal and acrylic. Amber’s Jewellery is created using unconventional recycled materials such as hardwoods, copper pipes and old nails, alongside clear acrylic and elasticated cord, creating distinctive, individual wearable pieces. Each article is individually hand crafted and holds a certain warmth, transpired through both the pieces tactility and earthy colour scheme interrupted by small explosions of colour.
