Barnaby Kent

Barnaby Kent joined BCU as a Photographic Senior Technician in 2017, where he works part-time from Monday to Wednesday as an integral member of the Digital Technical Team at the Parkside Campus. His primary responsibility is to provide essential support for the university's photography facilities.

Outside of his role at BCU, Barnaby dedicates the remaining half of his time to a freelance career as an editorial photographer. His freelance work includes collaborations with publications such as The Financial Times, The Guardian, and The Telegraph.

Barnaby's artistic passion centres around horticulture, seasonal food growth, and the people and practitioners immersed in these environments. Through his lens, he explores the intricate connections between nature, sustenance, and human interaction. His photographic projects illuminate the captivating narratives of individuals and practitioners who work and live within these vibrant spaces.
