Helen Lower has coached the table tennis team since 2018

Helen is a Level 4 table tennis coach, a career she developed after being a player herself. She coaches a variety of players from six years olds to adults. Helen has worked as a regional coach (West Midlands) for five years and two years as a national under-15s coach. With regards to education, Helen possesses a Postgraduate diploma in Elite Performance.

As a player, Helen represented England more than 100 times, winning 17 national table tennis titles. Helen also competed at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester in 2002 and Melbourne in 2006, as well as the European Championships in Eindhoven in 1998, where her team scooped a bronze medal.
