Public and Community Health
Our staff have a range of rich academic and practice-based expertise in public health, social sciences, health management and leadership.
Our staff define Public and Community Health studies as those which require the multi-disciplinary knowledge of art, science and politics to enable individuals and populations to remain healthy, prevent disease and improve primary health care.
Courses
Our MPH Public Health has been developed in alignment with the Public Health Knowledge and Skills Framework (PHKSF, 2016) and the UK National Occupational Standards for Public Health, and reflects the skills and specialisms of our staff.
Our staff team also contribute their expertise to a range of other courses across the Faculty, including undergraduate nursing and post-qualifying healthcare courses.
