- You will spend most of your time studying your specialist subject so, depending on which one is your area, you will develop a high level of skills and understanding in:
- Computer Science OR
- Biomedical Sciences OR
- PE and School Sport, and Exercise Science
- Through the School of Education and Social Work, you will have access to teaching specifically around teaching practice, professional standards and placements in a wide range of schools across your three years
- Usually, to qualify as a teacher in secondary schools you would have to take a three-year degree in the relevant subject area and then complete a one-year teacher training programme; so in total it would take four years.
