Dr Susan Sisay
Prior to joining Birmingham City University, Susan was a legal practitioner specialising in corporate and commercial law. In addition to practice, she consulted for a number of local and international agencies on a number of issues. She was also active in justice and legal reform initiatives, leading and coordinating a number of reform projects and programmes.
In 2009 Susan relocated to the UK for her Masters and subsequently proceeded to do her PhD. During this period, she worked in a number of HE institutions including Coventry University’s International Office as Enrolment Manager.
Susan has always had an interest in venture creation and alongside her professional career established several enterprises/ ventures including a law firm. She currently runs several micro enterprises and involved in an advisory capacity in a number of micro businesses.
