History of the Printed Image Network

The History of the Printed Image Network (HoPIN), a constituent part of the Centre for Printing History and Culture (CPHC), is an informal network of printmakers and others interested in the history, culture, techniques and impact of artistic printmaking. HoPIN aims to bring the history and culture of printmaking more firmly into the sphere of mainstream printing history and culture.

The network offers opportunities to exchange information and ideas on printmaking history and culture; publishes informal public information on printmaking history and culture (blog posts etc) and occasionally publish more formal scholarly articles in relevant journals. It also organises occasional events: seminars, workshops, modest exhibitions, and conferences.
