Free Community Counselling at BCU

A Safe Space to Talk, Reflect and Move Forward

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming. Whether you're experiencing stress, anxiety, difficult emotions, or going through a challenging period, you don't have to face it alone.

The Birmingham City University (BCU) Counselling Clinic offers free, confidential counselling for adults aged 18 and over who are experiencing mild to moderate emotional difficulties.

Our counselling is provided by trainee counsellors who are carefully supported and supervised by experienced, qualified professionals, ensuring you receive compassionate and high-quality support in a safe and welcoming environment.

An Inclusive Service for Everyone

We warmly welcome people from all backgrounds, cultures, identities and life experiences.

Counselling is available:

  • In person at our Birmingham City Centre location
  • Online via Microsoft Teams
