Late Submission Policy
If you miss your deadline, do not worry. Under the University’s Late Submission of Assessment Policy you may submit up to five working days late while receiving a reduction in mark. Submitting at first attempt, even late, increases your chances of success – you have access to a fuller range of uncapped marks and the possibility of a resit attempt.
Extenuating Circumstances (ECs)
The University understands that there are times when unexpected circumstances outside of your control may arise which affect performance in assessment. If this happens you can apply for extenuating circumstances as per the University’s Extenuating Circumstances Procedure. A user guide to complete the EC claim in MySRS is available here and you can also watch the guidance video below.
Student Support Centre
Your Student Support Centre is your one-stop-shop for all student support and guidance.
Our team will have extensive knowledge of student life, ready to help with anything related to your student journey; from starting out, all the way through to assessments and beyond.
Whether it’s course-related, accommodation, support for your wellbeing or your finances, or anything else, your Student Support Centre can help. If they don’t have the answer to hand, they’ll know where to find it.
