The Old Fire Station is a central Birmingham property managed by Student Roost, one of our University partner providers. Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the City Centre, The Old Fire Station is ideal for students based at City Centre Campus looking for city living in a unique setting. It’s a Grade II listed building, with lots of the original features to admire.

Make yourself at home in your studio room, which will have a private shower room with sink and toilet, a comfortable three-quarter bed with mattress and cover, and a Wi-Fi connected study area with a desk, chair and a notice board. As well as a mirror and wardrobe, you'll find storage space under your bed with shelves and drawers to store your belongings.

Your studio will contain a personal fitted kitchen which includes a cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave, plus a living area which is an ideal space to relax with your friends. Dual occupancy is available at no extra cost. The second person needs to be a student also. 

Outside of your room, you can also take advantage of the social space with sofas and pool table and an onsite gym which is free for all residents. Meanwhile, our study area offers the perfect environment for solo and group work. Our reception is open 24/7 with Customer Service Advisor and Night Owls who can support you throughout your stay.
