Becky’s research focuses on how psychology (particularly cognitive and social psychological principles) can be applied to real life issues. This work often focuses on eyewitness memory or investigative interviewing, but is also of value in other applied contexts (e.g. education).
Becky enjoys sharing her passion for applied research with others by attending key conferences, engaging with practitioners and encouraging students to apply their psychological knowledge to topics that inspire them. She is also interested in innovative ways of disseminating research, and has previously been involved in the organisation and running of immersive public engagement events at Goldsmiths, University of London.
