Rebecca is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She joined BCU in 2017 and teaches on the MSc Forensic Psychology and the BSc Psychology courses.
Rebecca’s research focuses on how psychology (particularly cognitive and social psychological principles) can be applied to real life issues. This work often focuses on eyewitness memory or investigative interviewing but is also of value in other applied contexts (e.g. education). Rebecca is also interested in innovative ways of disseminating research and has previously been involved in the organisation and running of immersive public engagement events at Goldsmiths, University of London.
