Dr Anakwah is a lecturer in forensic psychology with specialty in legal psychology. He completed a Dual Ph.D. in legal psychology at Maastricht University and University of Portsmouth, as part of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate programme, The House of Legal Psychology. Nkansah supervised graduate students in legal psychology at Maastricht University. He was also a visiting lecturer at the Ghana Police Academy. Prior to his PhD, Nkansah worked at the University of Ghana, where he tutored psychology modules, and later worked as an adjunct lecturer at the Methodist University Ghana.

Nkansah’s research interests include eyewitness memory and investigative interviewing in cross-cultural contexts, including law enforcement settings, intelligence gathering settings, and asylum seeker contexts.
