Lauren is experienced in teaching a range of undergraduate and postgraduate psychology modules. Her favourite areas are cognition and psychopathology. She is pleased to now be part of the online MSc Psychology teaching team. She loves online teaching because it enables her to interact with and aid in the learning of many students from across the world.

Initially, Lauren chose to pursue academia because she discovered a passion for research during undergraduate studies that she wished to foster. She has investigated effects of anxiety on children’s attentional biases for emotional stimuli. Focus now is on interventions including modification of such biases. She has also recently enjoyed conducting more pedagogical research. Her research helps to inform teaching.
