Our students have recently benefited from real-life insight into hostage negotiations from a leading expert.
Sean Cunningham OBE, former Head of Hostage and Crisis Negotiation for New Scotland Yard, spoke to our students about this fascinating role, which he worked in after an extensive policing career. Sean debated whether crisis and hostage negotiation is an art or a science, using real case studies and discussing specific incidents he has personally been involved in.
