Birmingham City University is holding a dedicated open-day for prospective students looking to start a course this September.

This Saturday’s event – being held at the University’s City North, City South and City Centre campuses from 10am until 2pm – is the perfect opportunity to find out more about the University and gain valuable insight into student life at Birmingham City University.

There are still a number of courses on offer through the University’s Clearing service, including a comprehensive portfolio of full and part-time courses at an undergraduate or postgraduate level. A number of professional and short course options are also available.

Lyn Holder, Head of Outreach and Enquiry Management at Birmingham City University said: “Anyone who is attempting to secure a place at the University this September is advised to attend our open day if possible. A team of specially trained staff will be on hand to offer advice on everything from course content to financing your studies."

Prospective Birmingham City University students are also advised to visit the dedicated Clearing site, which has just launched a series of videos featuring staff and students who are sharing their advice about the Clearing process. The BCU Clearing Guide is also a lead feature on the Guardian's own Clearing website and can be found on a number of independent advice websites.
