Open Days
Open days are the perfect way for anyone interested in studying at Birmingham City University to come and have a look around and talk to the people who know our University the best - the students.
With more and more students seeking university places, Open Days are an increasingly popular way of making sure you make the right choice. Attendance at our October 2009 Open Days was 52 per cent up on the previous year, so please register for one of our open days as soon as possible. We would encourage you to book your place on our open days as due to our increased popularity there may be some courses for which we will have to restrict numbers of attendees.

Main University Open Days
These open days are for anyone thinking about applying for a course starting in 2011 or beyond. All of our subjects will be represented on these dates.
- Friday 8 October
- Saturday 9 October
University Open Days offer an overview of the University and its courses. We have a range of campuses across the city and you will be able to visit the most appropriate campus for your subject.
If you register for a place on one of our Open Days, you will be sent a programme and details of the best campus to visit for your chosen subject. The programme will give full details of activities and events at each campus. You will have the opportunity to tour the relevant campus, discuss courses with academic staff and meet current students.
Faculty Open Days offer a subject-based tour around your chosen faculty, talks with students and teaching staff, workshops and other practical activities to help you decide whether our University is the right place for you.
