Paul Daly

Paul previously taught at Birmingham City University as a Seconded and Visiting Lecturer.

Having been appointed as a Senior Lecturer in 2014, he now teaches on pre and post-registration Operating Department Practice (ODP), Nursing, Paramedic Science and Mentorship courses.

In addition to his role as lead for the post registration peri-operative pathway, he is the Module Leader for and teaches on a variety of pre and post-registration modules in all peri-operative specialities at levels 4-7. He also leads on hi-fidelity simulation, inter-professional education, and stakeholder engagement.

Paul’s healthcare career started 20 years ago and he qualified as an ODP in 1998.

Since then he has worked in a variety of Trusts specialising in Difficult Airway Rescue and Human Factors before moving into academia.
