About us
The School of Health Sciences was established in 2014 to accommodate our growing biomedical science and sports courses portfolio alongside our health and social care courses. We invested £41 million to extend our building to accommodate new facilities which give us world-class research and teaching spaces.
We provide high standards of undergraduate, postgraduate and post-qualification education and training for health and social care professionals.
The Faculty has been awarded the, the Skills for Health Quality Mark for our Health related courses. It is the only standard for the UK's health sector which defines and endorses superior delivery of learning and training that healthcare employers need for a highly motivated and effective workforce. The benchmark shows that as a training provider we are delivering world-class training for the health sector.
