Julia Gillies-Wilkes

Julia is an Integrative Psychotherapist with a background in individual and organisational development.

Julia teaches on the MSci Psychology and Counselling Professional Practice course, and takes the lead role for the development and management of a network of professional counselling placement providers across the West Midlands and in the UK. She is the Academic Lead for Partnerships and Apprenticeships in the Department of Psychology and Counselling and is facilitating the development of the BCU Counselling Clinic for adults.

Julia is an External Examiner for the Counselling MSc at Bangor University.

Julia spent 30 years in the charitable / third sector industry before moving into Higher Education in 2021.
