Adekola Ogundare is a highly experienced Registered Nurse and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with 17 years of diverse clinical practice. His extensive background includes significant contributions across acute, emergency, peri-operative, anaesthesia, and critical care settings.

Prior to his current role as a Lecturer in Adult Nursing at Birmingham City University, Adekola served as a professional development nurse and has experience as a practice facilitator and associate lecturer at a different university. His roles at BCU, which began in April 2024, include supporting students in practice by collaborating with partners and addressing student practice learning concerns. He is also involved in the delivery of NMC Standard for Student Supervision and Assessment (SSSA) training for practice partners.

Adekola currently teaches on Complex Care modules for Level 4 and Level 5, and contributes to wider Adult clinical skills. He is also responsible for the delivery of SafeMedicate and the facilitation of Basic Life Support skills.
