Jason Jeffries-Lloyd has nearly 30 years of experience in paramedicine, beginning with West Midlands Ambulance Service, where he worked as a solo Paramedic, acted as a Clinical Supervisor, and served as Team Leader for the Hazardous Area Response Team. His experience also includes working as part of an ambulance crew, providing a broad and in-depth clinical knowledge across pre-hospital care.

In 2020, Jason joined Birmingham & Solihull Training Hub as the Paramedic Ambassador, becoming the first person in the country to lead this role and setting a benchmark for other Training Hubs. In this capacity, he gained expertise in Health Education England’s RoadMap to Practice and served on a national panel advising on support for Paramedics entering Primary Care. He also provided guidance to non-RoadMap Paramedics, conducted Training Needs Analyses to inform Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and offered impartial advice to Paramedics across federations.

Currently, Jason is a Teaching Fellow at Birmingham City University, contributing his extensive pre-hospital and Primary Care expertise to educate and develop Paramedic Science BSc students. Through his combined clinical, leadership, and educational experience, Jason is dedicated to fostering positive learning environments, sharing real-world knowledge, and supporting the next generation of Paramedics in achieving professional excellence.
