Emily Moyce

Emily is a BCU graduate with a degree in Operating Department Practice, where she gained experience across a wide range of specialities including Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, and Interventional Radiology. Since qualifying, she has worked at a major trauma centre, specialising in anaesthetics and recovery within ENT, Plastics, and Breast theatres.

She has a particular interest in major head and neck surgery and the challenges of difficult airway management. Due to this, she became the departmental Difficult Airway Link, providing training and support to colleagues in the safe and effective use of difficult airway equipment. Building on her first degree in Education, she has now combined her clinical expertise with her experience in teaching, taking on the role of ODP Lecturer at BCU.
