Michael is a producer and writer, with additional experience in directing, spanning both narrative fiction, documentary and commercial projects.

He was an associate producer on 2016 BAFTA nominated feature film The Ghoul, Executive Producer on 2023 BAFTA Longlisted short film WanderLand and has produced narrative film projects that have amassed over 100 international film festival selections and secured funding from the likes of BFI and CreativeUK. His short film directorial debut Forget Me Not was nominated for Best Comedy at the BAFTA and Oscar qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival and follow up Sequins was picked up for 28 official selections at recognised global film festivals. Michael’s screenwriting is represented by Imagine Talent and he currently has television projects under option and in-development.

Michael co-founded and works as a producer for history YouTube channel WW2 Headquarters which has attracted over 100k subscribers, and he is now advising on other channels in the same space. He worked as UK Field Producer and Second Unit Director on Sundance Labs and Netflix backed documentary Coded Bias.

His commercial clients as both a producer, creative and director have included Skoda, Goodyear/ Dunlop, Bombay Sapphire, BBC and Sky. Michael also speaks publicly on topics in the field of filmmaking, TV, content creation and writing, with talks given at Chalke History Festival, We Have Ways Fest and the Silverstone Museum. His debut book The Making of Mission Impossible: 30 Years On is due to be released in Summer 2026.

He maintains a current and forward-facing knowledge in a range of production and post-production methods and technologies, bringing this day-to-day passion back to benefit the students at Birmingham City University.
